Under the guidance of their faculty advisors, students will attend classes, seminars and lectures in their field of study as well as other related fields. Students will participate in various academic activities such as supervised practice teaching, visiting various schools and institutes, etc.

Shiga University has two campuses. The Graduate School of
Economics is in Hikone Campus and the
Graduate School of Education is in Otsu Campus.
The Graduate School of Education at Shiga University is
comprised of three fields of specialization : School Education, Special
Education and Subject Studies. The Otsu Campus is located near the southern end
