Finally I did it! There, in the Special
Capital Region of Jakarta I
found the happiness
I have long had a dream to
come to Jakarta, the
capital of the biggest
moslem country in
the world, till One
day, on Monday, dated March 16, 2015. I and all of my friends from class 8D -
8J did a study tour to Jakarta. I left home at 11:45 pm at the school, we all
started to put themselves into each bus. When traveling we were all very
excited, we were chatting and eating snacks that we brought. Jakarta is the
country's economic, cultural and political centre. It is the most populous city
in Indonesia and in Southeast Asia, and is the tenth-largest city in the world.
When we in Brebes,
we all had a lunch, after eating we continued the trip to Jakarta and we
dropped in Bekasi for a break.
In the next
morning, we got up to shower and did the dawn prayer and also had a breakfast there. After had a breakfast, we all went to the monument, Monas was very
crowded and hot, but we went in to the Monas. Jakarta has a hot and humid
tropical wet and dry climate (Aw) according to the Köppen climate
classification system. Despite being located relatively close to the equator,
the city has distinct wet and dry seasons. After that we went
directly to Ancol. At the Ancol, we were all waiting in line to see a movie
using 4D glasses, when we finished, we had a lunch, after that we directly went
to Dufan because in Ancol was very crowded.
When we were in Dufan, we all split up
and tried to play all the games there,
from the easiest to the most extrime games, when we all finished, we got
a dinner. All of that best moment was never enough to complete my dream in
Jakarta. The cities/municipalities of Jakarta are:
Central Jakarta (Jakarta Pusat) is
Jakarta's smallest city Landmarks include the National Monument (Monas), the
Istiqlal Mosque, Jakarta, the Jakarta Cathedral, and museums.
West Jakarta (Jakarta Barat) has the
highest concentration of small-scale industries in Jakarta.
South Jakarta (Jakarta Selatan),
originally planned as a satellite city, is now the location of large upscale
shopping centres and affluent residential areas.
East Jakarta (Jakarta Timur) territory
is characterized by several industrial sectors erected in this city. Also
located in East Jakarta are Taman Mini Indonesia Indah and Halim Perdanakusuma
International Airport.
North Jakarta (Jakarta Utara) is the
only city in Jakarta that is bounded by the sea (Java Sea). It is the location
of the Tanjung Priok Port. Large-scale and medium-scale industries are
concentrated in North Jakarta. North Jakarta contains part of Jakarta Old Town,
formerly known as Batavia since the 17th century, and was a centre of VOC trade
activity in Dutch East Indies. Also located in North Jakarta is Ancol Dreamland
(Taman Impian Jaya Ancol), currently the largest integrated tourism area in
South East Asia.
We went to Cikampek
to buy some foods to my family, after we all bought some foods we come back to
KANDEMAN and we arrived in Kandeman at
07:30 AM.
